Samphire with browned butter

Ingredients

  • 200g samphire
  • large knob butter
  • a squeeze of lemon

Method

  • Wash and pick over 200g samphire, blanch it boiling water for a minute and drain
  • Heat a large knob of butter in a pan until it starts to brown, add a squeeze of lemon and the and toss the lot together, season with black pepper. Serve as a side
